Our Nursery.

Situated in the heart of Chelmsford, Footprints Day Nursery has been successfully providing high quality childcare since 1979.

Our city centre location provides easy access for parents who commute to London and those who work within the city. Chelmsford Railway Station is only a 15 minute walk from our premises. You can find us in Hall Street, a short distance from Parkway, which is the main route through the city.

Footprints Day Nursery operates in partnership with Life Church (an Elim Pentecostal Christian Church) which has been involved in Chelmsford’s community life since the 1920’s.

The nursery provision is organised in three groups, Under Two’s, Toddlers, and Pre-School; providing excellent care and exciting play and learning opportunities.

We care for children from 0-5 years within the nursery all year round, we also have the option of term time only care for the over two's. We accept 2, 3, and 4 year old Funded Early Education Entitlement for all children and have a vast knowledge and experience of working with children with additional needs.

We also run and afterschool club, Monday to Friday from 3 pm till 6pm and Our Holiday Club runs each school holiday and is for school aged children up to the age of 11 years. The children in the holiday club are always busy having fun with the many activities we have on offer including local activity centre The after school club Provision is managed by a Playleader and qualified staff team who regularly take part in professional development. This is to ensure that your child is offered the best possible opportunities to relax and have fun, whilst enjoying new experiences and developing friendships.
